Your First Visit
Your first Physiotherapy session will take approximately 45 - 60 minutes. It includes an initial assessment, followed by treatment. Each of our clients receives a comprehensive evaluation and examination in a private one-on-one treatment room. Based on this thorough assessment, a diagnosis is made and our findings are discussed with you before developing and individualized treatment plan that works for you and your lifestyle.
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily. If the Physiotherapist will be assessing your neck, shoulders, or upper back, please wear a tank top. If your area of concern is your low back or legs, please bring a pair of shorts.
Bring with you any notes from your doctor, although you do not need a doctor’s referral to access our services.
Bring a list of the tests you have had, for example, x-ray, MRI, CT.
Please bring a list of any prescribed or over the counter medications that you take.
Insurance
Family Physiotherapy Clinic direct bills to most major insurance providers including Manitoba Public Insurance, Workers Compensation Board, Manitoba Blue Cross, National Blue Cross, Canada Life, Sun Life, Greenshield, Chamber of Commerce, belair direct, Desjardins, Industrial Alliance, Manulife, Maximum Benefit, Couglin & Associates, VAC, CAF and RCMP.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday/Sunday/Monday: Closed
