Manitoba Health announces funding for Physiotherapy after hip and knee replacements!


So what does this mean for you? 


Patients who have had hip or knee replacement surgery after January 1, 2023  (who have not already had Physiotherapy treatment) can qualify for this new funding, beginning April 1, 2023.


Manitoba Health will cover the cost of up to 6 post-operative Physiotherapy treatments at private clinics such as Family Physiotherapy Clinic.


No doctor's referral is required.


This funding may be coordinated with your own private insurance (for example, Blue Cross), if you have any.
